Khalid,
PM me your e-mail address and I'll send over some pics of the conversion. They are too large to attach as thumbnails to the site.

Yep. 'Spensive, but I'm sure it will be worth it....to me, that is. Besides, now I won't have to buy the new TT or a CGT!! LOL

you're car will rock without a doubt. the power to weight ratio should be phenomenal. what does a boxster S with fuel weigh these days?

my c2 cab (with 19's and blower) weighed in at 3450. that boxster should be some ride with the 3.8 liter motor in there at 2800 pounds. got room for a supercharger?

First I'll try to keep the meats on the pavement with the 3.8L and stuff. Who knows, I may talk to IA in a year or two after they've had a chance to fit up the SC on the Boxster S. I would imagine that the parts they are fabbing for that application would also work on this configuration. Maybe with a slightly different diameter drive pulley for the 3.8L vs. 3.2L??

why not just put the evo kit on there? they already make one for the "S" motor.

I would like to know if some of the options that are on my car make it weigh significantly more. Here is a pic of my option list:

I put my 2000 S on the scales and it came to exactly 3000 lb with 3/4 tank of gas and the spare tire / tool kit still in place. My weight impact mods are the following (weights are actuals measured on a bathroom scale):

8.5 x 18 and 10.5 x 18 Volk TE 37 rims (17 lb and 19 lb each)
Sparco Evo2 seats (33 lb each w/brackets and sliders)
CF hood (6.5 lb)
Post-cat straight pipes (6 lb)
Stable Energies cage (52 lb)

The coilover and steering wheel mods were a push compared to the OEM stuff.

How do you get down to 2800 lb?

Bro
