First Photos With Top Off

Finally had the chance to take the top off of my 2011 Boxster Spyder and take it for a ride. It was absolutely awesome driving with the roof off. Here are a couple of pictures.

I love the red and Black! The stock wheels do look nice but are you planning to upgrade them?

Actually no. They were designed specifically for the Sypder. They are the lightest wheel that Porsche makes and contributed significantly to the total weight reduction of 176 pounds.

As I mentioned in one of your other threads... huge fan of your car. Beautiful.

And at the risk of offending others, I'm so glad to read this. Porsche makes a lot of great cars and a few, really extraordinary models. The Boxster Spyder was one of them. I'm glad to see someone leave well enough alone and not fiddle with what the factory intended. Again, to each his/her own, but I think it's refreshing.

Many happy, safe miles.

Glad to know that someone else shares my views on leaving well enough alone. I think Porsche hit a home run with the Spyder.

I was never a big fan of stripes but it came with the car so I am keeping it but thanks for your comments. One of my fellow Peachstate Porsche Club members also has a 2011 Boxster Spyder that is Basalt Black Metallic and that is how we tell them apart. His does not have stripe.
