Will 19" Carrera Classics fit a 986 Boxster???
Will 19" Carrera Classics fit a 986 Boxster???
Love the look of the Carrera Classic 19" wheel and would like to put them on my 986 Boxster.
8x19 57 Offset
11x19 67 Offset
Will they work without spacers?

I doubt it without a spacer, and even with one, it'll be tight to fit an 11" rim plus an appropriately sized tire (275 to 295 for an 11" rim, I don't think any 265's are recommended on 11") There are, I think, at least two Porsche OEM 10" rims for the Cayman series car. The Boxster Spyder and Cayman R came with 10" rear rims - do you have the offsets for those wheels? Since the 911 Carrera rear adds another 1" (25.4mm) I'd guess you'd probably start with splitting the difference and adding 12.7mm (or 13mm) to either side of the stock wheel center.
I believe there are a couple of folks on the Planet-9 site who've managed to fit 11" rear rims on Caymans, but I am not sure what offset(s) were used - although I'd be surprised if it didn't require something like a 13 - 17mm spacer, and put the outside edge of the rear tires pretty darn close to the fenders.

If it's not, and you have to add more clearance on the strut side, then you start to play with 5mm, then 7mm etc. spacers and look at having to "flare" the fender if the tire's too "tall" (40 or 35 etc. series) or you have to "shrink" the rear tire's height by running a narrower, 265, 275 or 285 &/or shorter sidewall, i.e. 30 series tire.
