2013 Boxster cleaning solution leak

New to the world of Porsche so a still pretty green. I took my new 2013 boxster to the local dealership for its first oil change and check up. Got home and next morning I noticed a puddle of oil under the car, brought back to dealership and they said it was just a "cleaning solution" and it's normal. They fixed it and sent me home. Next morning same thing. Is this normal?

Best to ask this question on planet-9.com

Wealth of knowledge there focused on boxters/cayman.

I know when I got my oil change, they overfilled and I noticed drip on garage floor but not puddle. I don't think they take time to properly drain the car first. When I went back, they bled some oil off. Hope this helps.

I'm a bit puzzled by 'cleaning solution'. Oil is not a cleaning solution. As far as I know Porsches and other brands don't have any cleaning solution unless they're referring to the windshield or headlight cleaning solution reservoirs. My guess is that during their service procedure they topped them off and most likely over filled them; thus the puddle of 'cleaning solution'.

Induction cleaner

Just spoke with the dealership for clarification and he said it is the "induction cleaner" that is leaking and not oiland should go away. I feel like he is just blowing smoke, any thoughts?

I had my 2013 Boxster changed by my dealer and it read overfill, I called dealer, they told me it would burn off. It didn't. I had it changed by my local German car specialist. They charged $140. (took it to dealer to reset service light)I have not had any issues since. They will be doing all my oil changes. I had the same issue with my 2010 911, at a different dealer. Sometimes I wonder about the service technicians. Get another opinion.
