987.1 Headlight Replacement

I can't find any detailed instructions on how to replace my 2007 Cayman's headlight bulb. Any help?
Thanks.

You'll have to go into the frunk and use one of the tools in the toolkit, metal rod with extention rod for twisting. Pull back the carpet on the side of the frunk and take off a little rubber cap to expose where the rod is inserted to unlock the headlight for you to remove the whole assembly. It's very detailed and has pictures in the manual.

Once you have the headlight module out, youll have to take off the back cover to get to the headlight bulb or the side cover for the turn signal

Thanks. I found it. Where is this tool though? I tried a long extention with a 5mm, but it didn't fit the tiny hole before the nut.

In the frunk in the plastic, rectangular tube where the amp, wheel lock key, and tire sealant is. It's the random looking long tool that isn't the wrench or screwdriver

Just did it actually! 5 min ago. Another question. I am replacing a brake light also. I did so, but it still doesn't work. Could it be a fuse?

Could be a fuse but did you make sure to plug the wires back in? First time I changed any bulbs in the taillight, I forgot to plug it back in. Focused too much on the 3 nuts and alignment of the light

hehe I knew I would do something like that, so made 110% sure they were in. Also, took out blinker light to make sure it was the correct installation. So fuse?

What do I buy exactly?

There should be some extra fuses in the fusebox. Open the box and look in the diagram then replace the fuse with a replacement to see if it works.
