New tires

Bought my 06 Cayman S and it came with Michelin PS2's. Took to track on a 90 degree day and they worked great. Went to track on a 55 degree day and I couldn't get any heat in them and spun twice. Went to an auto cross event today and they were slippery again. I'm done! Any suggestions on new boots? Live in Midwest so fall get chilly but want to do some events before snows come.

If that is the original tires that came with the car new they are 7 years old & dangerous to drive on. The rubber gets hard around 4-5 years old & should be replaced. Check the date codes at the end of the DOT # on the sidewall.
