I think Porsche did a great job on these cars, amazing how they keep improving these cars.

Here is a few more pictures and video.

Porsche is masterful at putting that candy out there to tempt us. It is more or less the 981 version of Black/R. Those ordering S variants of the Boxster or Cayman would be well served to look at the GTS for price/value proposition.

lol I just couldn't help but think that video was funny. Porsche gathered up all of their top masterminds from around the world with great urgency so they could bump the Cayman up 15 horsepower and change out the bumpers. But in all seriousness the car looks fantastic, can't wait to see them on the road.

Finally! I was hoping for a little more power though.

I will definitely consider the Cayman GTS when the lease has ended on my 991 S.

what a battle this will have vs vette. gts with typical options will probably be more expensive than vette by $15k but closer than typical 911. will be fun to see

I drove the 14 Cayman S and man was it a fun drive. I've been looking for a 991 S but now I am thinking of saving a bit, getting a Cayman S and modding the hell out of it..

Tough decisions!

The pictures of the GTS are showing a red exterior. Does anybody know which red it is...Guards or Carmine? Thanks.

I think it's Carmine Red.

Isn't PTV standard on the GTS? That might explain why it's not listed as an option.

PTV is a $1,320 option on the Cayman GTS according to the US configurator.

I went from a 3.8 down to a 3.4. Believe me. You will miss the 3.8. Don't do it.

Did you switch from a 991S to a Carrera or to a Boxster/Cayman?

I'm thinking that the decrease in power isn't so bad with the lighter weight of the 981 chassis.
