Cayman Handling Problem?

So another day of cruising around, I went into corner that I usually go with BMW around 40-50kmph no problem, So I was turning around 35kmph-40 with Cayman and It went out of control I almost hitted trashcan then the left sidewalk before I got In control..
I wonder If tires's fault or That's how thing Is with Mid/Rear-Engine cars?
Thanks

That does not sound like things were acting correctly. Clearly you would enter that turn and set the car up differently with the mid engine than front engined cars. Did you by any chance hit the brakes in the turn (trail brake)? That would have a tendency to possibly upset the balance.
