What do you guys think about the Eco Elise utilizing natural fibers in replace of carbon fiber and some other materials in the interior?

Exactly I am so sick or enviro influence on cars. Bad enough F1 and LMP are more electric than combustion. Now if Ferrari starts making a pasta based frame and can run on olive oil I will change mind and eat my car

 

I think this is another reason why Lotus sells about 500 cars per year.

 

That is dreadful.

 

Dreadful or not, I would not put my money down on one until it has been out for a few years, then make the decision.

I never cared for the Elise's styling to begin with. An Elan fixed head coupe, now that's another story.

I just took another look at the photos, I have to now totally agree with dreadful.

 

Now that is an interesting car.
