Really need help - new 981 GTS vs used 991cab
Hi all, I realize this is personal preference, but I could really use your help.
I definitely want a cab and need pdk due to a bad leg. I've also decided if I get a 911, I want a 991, and you might as well get the S.
I'm not sure you've been in the market recently, but a 991s CPO is about mid 90s if you want to be < 95k.
This car will be for nice days and weekends - have a macan s for cruddy days...
In any case, I can get a CPO 2015 black Boxster GTS with 660 (not 6600, 660) miles for 85k. If I want to skip the CPO, they will take off the 1900 they have to pay Porsche. As I won't hit the 100k on the CPO, the warranty gives me 2 more years on a car that already has 3.5 years left.
So, I could use opinions on
- CPO GTS 981 for 85
- NON-CPO GTS 981 for 83
- Find a 991 cab S for 95
If it helps, 981 GTS build sheet below.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Back seats I meant for storage more than humans but you never know. Some people have kids they fit.
I still would say test drive. You will notice a very different feel I suspect between the two tho maybe that has changed. The last 912 I drove was a 997 gts compared to the new Cayman.

actually, my sister in law rode in the back seats of an 88 from LA to Vegas, but she is tiny. She still hated it though.

If you have a budget of $85 to $95k for a weekend open top car, why not look into Boxster Spyder ( Not sure if they have PDK as an option). But I think I would go with 991S with aerokit package. Good luck
