Any facts on the allotment/production for '16 GT4?
Hi all. Long time no participate. (went porsche-less).
Thinkng to fix that. Does anyone know whether I need
to scour 20 dealerships to find a place in all their lotteries,
and pay some additional markup, or is it going to be easier/cheaper?
Thanks,
joe

I am very unlikely to buy a new one and frankly was looking at a turbo, nice luxury rocket, but I cannot get that GT4 out of my head. I think all us boxster/cayman fan boys kept asking for 911 power in the mid engine car and now that they did, I would love to have one and clearly I am not alone. I would like to know, probably just for amusement but still.
Did a bit or research and should have known, while I am sure it is brilliant and I would love it, bit disappointing that it does not have a higher revving GT motor.

I've been searching for one and it seems like if you can find one, be prepared to pay $15-30k over msrp. As far as next years allotments, good luck as well. Every dealer I've called has a list of 50-100 people in line. I went ahead and put a deposit down for a GT4 RS. No mention of it yet but if Porsche follows its history, they will most likely produce it as a '17. There's already quite a few deposits down for the GT4 RS so I would recommend putting a deposit asap.
