Was able to get my hands on a still customizable GT4 allocation for the year. Finally agreed to paying a little over for the car and secured my spot, however now I'm having the delima of Paint to sample color..

I'm between the 918 Acid Green, the GT3RS UV Purple, or the Mexico Blue.

Any downfall to going with a custom color? I'm not trying to make money with the car, but don't want to hurt the resale either. And any other colors out there that would be killer on the GT4!?

 

Mexico blue seems to yield the highest resale value on the secondary market. With that said, the green would look killer and maybe the gt3 rs orange.

 

Don't fret too much. PTS is closed for 2016. Unless already approved I believe.

 

Il have to verify from the dealer, but as of last night they did confirm that PTS was available for the allocation. Its a late build, Next July/Aug Delivery time, Feb Allocation. So maybe its approved for the later builds? Not sure, i will have to find out now!

Leaning on the Mexico Blue if it is available tho!

Search for his posts and threads. Good guy. I've met him 3 X now.

 

What seapar said. PM Eduardo on RL. Been reading plenty of threads and appears PTS is no longer available. Also many of the colors you mention may not even be available on the GT4. Just because Porsche has the color doesn't mean you can get it on a specific car.

Again Eduardo is your man and NO ONE knows more about PTS than he does.

I have a 1st week in Feb build and PTS was not available as of last week, I reached out to Porsche Exclusives and they indicated the PTS window will not be open for the remaining GT4 run. This was the msg I received, just passing it along.
