My prestige plate arrived today and I could not be happier with the way it looks. I was honestly surprised to be able to get my first choice.

 

Nice. Around these parts, they're called vanity plates.

I try to resist the temptation. My generic state-issued plate is less memorable, lest I cut someone off in traffic and they see me again weeks later and want to retaliate.

Not that I would ever cut off someone intentionally...

 

What part of Gwinnett County are you in? I am in Peachtree Corners.

 

I live in Dacula. Are you a member of Peachstate Porsche Club? I have been a member for four years and thoroughly enjoy the Club activities. Great bunch of passionate Porsche owners.

 

Where do you order the custom plates? Just moved here from Texas and have recently transferred my PCA membership to Peachtree from Maverick.

 

You order them from your local DMV. Google form for Prestige Plates in Georgia and fill it out before you go the the DMV. The form allows you to make several choices in case you first choice is not available. I have owned four Porsche's since 2011 and have always been able to get one of my choices. BTW you should plan on attending one of our monthly Socials. The next one is Monday, January 11th at Uncle Julio's Mexican Restaurant, 1140 Hammond Drive N.E. Sandy Springs, Ga 30328 at 6:30pm. It's a great opportunity to meet other members and find out what's going on in the Club. If you decide to come when the President introduces you to the group make sure you mention that you have transferred from the Maverick Region and I will be sure to introduce myself to you and make you feel welcome.
