Fantasy 987 cayman build

Wanted to know if it was possible to add updated cayman r headlights with a boxster spyder front and rear bumper on a 987.1 to update it. Any ideas of the difficulty in having this done or if it'd be worth it?

Seems like a major overhaul, front fenders, bumper , lights, not even sure if the rear could be done.

Well I've seen the rear lights and bumper updated on a first gen cayman .....doesn't the spyder rear bumper have the same connections as the caymans
I thought that was a way porsche cut costs on manufacturing & that some of the parts on the 997 can be swapped on to these cars?

Updating the bumpers and lights on 987.1 to 987.2 or any other Porsche is not inexpensive or simple. You can go to the 987.2 setup on the rear but you have to change out them out completely and I don't think the mounting holes matchup perfectly for the bumpers. Also, you will have to deal with any error codes and electrical connectors. It would make more sense to just buy a 987.2 instead. You can switch the entire front fenders and bumper from the 997.1 to the Cayman to get the round headlights but that can set you back a third-half that cost of a used 987.1 depending on the look you're going for. You should just go with aftermarket kits if you're not happy with the 987.1 appearance.
