It looks to be a simple solution... and Porsche engineer didn't figure this out? There must be a down side to this?

 

@9~Factor - It is definitely a simple solution. We have yet to see any models with this issue fixed from the factory. As far as we know, we have not seen a downside to this solution. The only thing that may be tricky is that in some cases we found that some people had to take the door panel off to install(not common).
