This may be a silly question, but I am trying to remove the cable that is attached to the emergency hood release (front hood 2006 Boxster)...no matter how much I pull the cable, it does not come out.

Would really appreciate any assistance because I don't want to break it.

Just wondering if there is a special way I am suppose to remove this??
