Greetings and good evening,

I have a 2009 Porsche Boxster 987.2, and I only have one set of keys. Since the only key that I have was worned out, I went ahead and bought a replacement key kit. The ones that you can use your existing essential fob parts and transfer them to the new and updated 3-button casing. Here's the problem; doors open with the fob, trunk also opens but the car wont start. The dash reading said "Key 2". How do I program this fob?

 

I think you have to go to the dealer for the programing, that is what they told me with my 2009 Cayenne GTS.
