Cayman S in "GT3-RS Orange

Hi there,

I special-ordered for our inventory a 2007 Cayman S in the same Orange as the 997 GT3-RS. Attached is the build sheet. The car is planned for production on 11/28/2006. Hopefully it will be here before the end of the year. As soon as it's here I will post some pictures.

We'll probably do some special stuff with the car, like black 20" wheels and black side mirrors.

If anybody has an interest in buying this one of a kind car, send me an e-mail or call me at the dealership 610-886-1000.

I'm thinking of 19 or 20" Techarts.

You can't go wrong with the Techarts. Is it possible for the public to order a color like that, or only someone like yourself, with more credentials?

You can bring a sample of any colour to the dealer and ask them to match it. I am not sure how much it costs though.

TechArts are too blingy IMO, get something from BBS or maybe the new GT3 wheels wil fit?

I really want an answer to this question as well. Though the GT3 rears are 12'' wide so it would require running significantly wider tires as well if there are no offset/clearance issues.

According to the invoice attached, it's $4315 for non-metallic colors.

+1 on the wheels. Techarts are heavy too. Get something lightweight for it!

We can put any wheels on it that will work for the person who buys the car.
Just for display I would probably still go with the Techarts.
Check with our Performance Center guys Jonathan or Jay about the GT3 rims.
Just give them a call 610-886-1000. They might be able to find out for you.

The Mexico Blue sounds good!! What do you guys think of the GT3-RS Green on a Cayman S?
