Question about Boxster wheels...

I need a new set of wheels / tires for my 2001 Boxster S... I have a guy that will sell me a set off of his 996 C4 for a good price but I am worried about compatability - will 18" wheels removed from a 996 C4 fit my 2001 Boxster S? TIA

The C4 wheels will not fit the Boxster. The rear offsets are wrong.
