vflow question

Just wondering if any 987 owner have installed the vflow and your comment on it..i've done a search and basically the 996/997 owners are saying that it is just noise increase. Is that the case for the 987 also? I have a base 987 and really itching to start modding to get some more hp..thanks...

Not the case... I have still have a couple here at the shop (not far from you?) but in combination with the flash you get about 20hp and better throttle response. Pretty much al the Cayman's we do have the stage 1 (intake and flash).

I've done the installation of the VFlow as well as had the GIAC flash ... using the butt dyno .. meh .. it isn't a turbo car where you can just "give it more boost" and feel it immediately .. I'm sure if I used a real dyno, some positive numbers would have appeared.

There is a "test" that I've been doing as I've been modding the car, tho.. there is a rather long uphill stretch on my way home from work that I can hit with no traffic whatsoever. I've noticed that with the flash, vflow, and tubi I am able to see higher speeds faster on the way up the hill.

Also, was able to push through more wind resistance and hit a top speed on another flat desolate stretch of highway that was about 18MPH faster than I was able to do stock.
