Quote: I Did The De-Snorkel as well on my 07 Cayman .I really like it ..sounds better and the Extra 5HP for $20.00 is a bargain .Put in the K&N last weekend and even sounds and performs better. The Vents are a little frustrating but I got handeled no problems .. Fun Mod and for very little $$$ Highly Reccomended

Are the 987 the same as 986? Any DIY site that you can point out how to remove the grills without breaking it?

What is the K&N filter's part number? Thanks!

That instruction is for a 2005 987 Boxster. Cayman do not have horizontal slits on intake.
