Comparing SLK and BOXSTER ask alot of forum !! This is the result

- overprice and imagine buying boxster model without porsche emblem.

How do you guys think on this from others forum ??

wrong. it handles better than 911 actually. as for me i'd rather buy Boxster than a 911 cab. only people can't afford a Porsche say something like that.

frankly it's designed as convertible. old body design? nothing is better than mid-engine design. SLK, are u kidding?

no, i'm not biased. i have had enough of them to say the above. SLK is great for what it shines. depends what u need of course. hope this help.

Using that logic it could also apply to:

997S because you can't afford a 997 Turbo
Gallardo because you can't afford a Murcielago
BMW 650i/550i because you can't afford an M6/M5
etc etc etc

It's all a bunch of crap IMO

 

The majority of car people out there have NEVER driven one... they just don't know. If you haven't driven one yet... whats keeping you? Get out and drive one. If you love it, then you won't go around asking SLK or Boxster...

 

I can't believe I am replying to this post.

My wife daily drives a Boxster. Great car. I don't fit in it well but it is fantastic in all respects.

 

This is such a stupid post...

IMO this guys really give us a big topic, everybody mayb confuse when comparing Boxster or SLK. Instead i of u asking 200K or boxster. Get a boxster, u can give hardtop too.

People who makes comments kill me,they just speak out of jealousy. I bought my Boxster the day I turned 18th and within the first couple of hours I had people already started making comments;'daddy buy you the car?','couldn't afford a 911?','I hope you owe on it for 20 years'. I just look at them as they drive their Civic.

Funny thing is though,my dad has a 01' 996,the person who loves 911's will even admit that my Box handles and brakes better then his 911 anyday. The only thing performance wise that 996 has on my Boxster is the brutal torque that it can basically unleash at any time.
