JIC Cross Coilovers Install on Cayman S

We are just wrapping up an install of the JIC Cross Coilovers on a customers Cayman S. Like the other models, same features are available - 16 way adj dampening, adj ride height, front camber plates, rear pillowball mounts, front inverted shock, monotube shock design. Once we get the wheels back from the balancer we will get some after pics to go with our before picture. The car will then go over to our friends at Redline Motorsport to have a full corner balance and weight alignment done. Here are the pics!

Right, who needs PASM when you have an asian with a wrench in your trunk.

The rear coilovers are a PITA install. Asian in the trunk is in the instructions. Us big white men wont fit.

Alright just drove it for a bit. I am withholding a full review until its aligned and corner balanced but F'n WOW! The ride height was lowered substantially but the ride is actually significantly better. So much so I kind of thought it was a bit soft but in reality it is just soaking stuff up much better than the OEM pieces. It is still very responsive but the steering feels more linear, not so progressive which I think will be outstanding at speed.

I should have the setup complete by this weekend and will post some more thoughts after some seat time with a little more heat in the tires.

Holla out yo! Gold volk TE37's with gold tint..... Front clip yeah, rear spoiler only if the car is fast enough to need it.

Oh by the way, the coilovers are so strong that rather than flexing when I pull in the driveway it lifts the inside rear wheel.

So I couldn't help myself, I had to go fool around with it. Checked tire pressure and lowered as tire changer dude always leaves them high. Check the dampening as 31 says they are set in the middle.....Wrong! They were on the softest setting so being the good little boy racer I am......moved to the hardest setting.

All I can say is even while the alignment is off these things are f'n awesome. Even on the hardest setting the dampening is way better than stock. I could DD the car at this setting. (AZ has pretty good roads) The back end feels great, sits down and hooks up, I feel my hips loading more as the car corners much flatter now. More to come.

Would love to get a GT3 bumper, but have the rest. (JIC, Volks, wing-not shown in pic)
