Hey everyone, with summer fast approaching I know that we are all probably very anxious to get our cars polished up and ready for the warm weather, I know I am. For this reason it kind of crossed my mind, now correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not aware of any exotic car gatherings in the GTA that meet on a regular basis. I know there are many classic car meets on a weekly basis throughout the summer in several locations but I have never come across any of the European variety. So I started thinking that maybe something could be organized in a suitable area where European exotic car enthusiasts could meet during the summer. I'm sure we exotic automotive enthusiasts are just as passionate about our cars as the guys with classics are and therefore we deserve a gathering of our own.

I would absolutely love to take charge in setting up something of this nature but I thought this would be a great place to start to see if anyone is actually interested in the idea. So then, what does everyone think? Would you guys be interested in this and would you attend if it was put together? Any feedback would be great.

Currenty we are at our Winter Location at Artizano's near Kipling...

Your welcome to come out to ours. Mostly Porsche owners, right now the group is small as most cars are in hibernation though some of us are still driving them and others come out with their winter beaters.

Right now we are at the winter location. In the summer the occasional exotic will come out. Though it's rare for them to take their cars out even in good weather.

 

How many ppl/cars usually show up to these events?

 

Winter location is usually around 4-9 people maybe 3-5 non winter beaters.

In good weather in Summer it is usually a better turnout, majority is p-cars
4-10 regulars from Rennlist
4-8 regulars that attend from the Corvette forum
and sometimes a the odd Lambo or Ferrari will come out on a nice day.

That is an unbelievable gathering of cars, I wish I had known about this earlier. I will definitely be attending this summer as much as I can. When are you guys going to start meeting again at the summer location?

O.o i'm new to toronto and just found out about this. I will come out to these meets in summer for sure! so when does the summer location meet usually come back? freezing long winter this yr ~.~

When the weather turns nice and the roads clear up, can you guys post a date to try to meet on? I'd love to come down and check things out.....looks like a ton of cool cars show up on a fairly regular basis. By the look of the temps and all the rain we are having right now, maybe it might an early spring....here's hoping.

 

Will do, though I do try and make it out for every Saturday. Though track days do prevent me in the Summer.

we are meeting up at Autowerks (400 and Langstaff, Sunoca Plaza) this Saturday 10AM... try and make it out then trhe weathe seems to be good for that day so far...

 

Have you guys been having any rain down there to clean up the roads? I was down at the Rogers Centre last weekend and it looks pretty good as far as salt, but getting down there would be messy. Roads up here are still wet, dirty and salt covered for taking the car out this weekend, but hopefully in a couple of weeks and some good rain the roads will be better and we'll come down.
