blownsix design fraud
For those of you who want to buy anything from Blownsix from Canada, think again. I purchased wheels from them back in March 08 and paid them via Paypal through my credit card. I explained to them what I wanted and we agreed to a deadline. Deadline passed and I began to email them about it. They told me that since my wheels were a custom order, it was taking longer. I understood, however, weeks passed and I was getting impatient. I kept asking for assurances and they kept giving one reason after next for delay. Finally I decided to call them and after getting apology after next, I contacted paypal and began an investigation. To get the investigation to close they tried to send Paypal a tracking number with an order that never got shipped, but the clowns at Blownsix didn't realize that I had UPS open an investigation on the shipment to show they were lying to me and Paypal. They took all the money I gave them out of the Paypal account. Paypal found in my favor but couldn't get the money out since they took all the money from the account so I contacted the credit card company and they refunded me. I found out they never shipped the wheels as they promissed they did. They never had the wheels, never shipped the wheels and tried to take my money. I am trying to find a way to drag their *** in court in Canada, but more importantly inform others as to their deceptive ways. BUYER BEWARE OF THESE GUYS. I heard they were good, but I am finding more people who they scammed.

Thanks
Thanks for the info, to update what's going on, Michael from Blownsix called and apologized and offered to send the rims, have me inspect them and if I like them, I could pay for them. Not really offering a reason behind all the troubles and headaches, but...Lets see how smooth it goes...
update
UPDATE:
The guys from Blownsix did send the wheels and as courtesy deducted money from the invoice for the headache and delays. All I can say is that the wheels are superb and I have put more than three thousand miles on them with no issues. They are light (lighter than R-H), strong and I tested them under high speeds with no issues. Thanks to all those who replied and gave the info, but Blownsix did eventually come through and with good quality wheels.

Blownsix is still in the Fraud business,
Hy,
My name is Joe and I live in Stuttgart, south Germany.
I just found this thread while doing a research regarding Blownsix, unfortunately a good friend of mine over here in Germany has the same problem, it seems that Blownsix rips people off on a regular basis!

His english is not good so I will post for him.
He ordered a Blownsix intercooler for his Porsche 965 and paid for it via banktransfer 6 months ago (!!!)
After 14 days Michael from Blownsix sent him an email saying he received the money and the intercooler would now be produced. He kept waiting. Another 14 days later he asked him how long it would take. One week later he received an email saying there was a fire in his company and it would take a little bit longer.
About 3 weeks later he suddenly received a email from Michael again, saying he was going to ship the intercooler, great ! (...he thought first...)
Now another 8 weeks have gone, after opening a thread over on the Pelicanparts Forum Michael contacted him suddenly and said he would ship the IC immediately and even provided a USPS tracking number, but guess what, same story like what happened to cherry 930, item never got shipped
Unfortunately my friend didnt use paypal or creditcard, so the chance to refund the money is very small, banktransfer happened almost 6 months ago...
Thank you Blownsix and may this post beware others being a fool as my friend to send money to a "company" which does not even have an address on the website.
(unfortunately it took us some time to recognize that)
Greetings,
Joe and Zoran

Thanks Chuck, unfortunately our first thread on the Pelicanboard has been closed by a administrator.
We will get our satisfaction during our first trip to Toronto for sure, this post is just to warn everybody especially from abroad to send this guy money, he obviously thinks that he can rip people off because of the big distance. Someone needs to stop this guy.
