One of the lads has just acquired a new car!! VERY VERY NICE and definitely worth the trip!!

We're going down on Sunday to get it, and then we'll convoy back up here Sunday afternoon. I figure it'll be a nice welcome to town if we arrive in a cool car parade!!

Anyway, we'll probably leave E-town around 9ish Sunday AM, and then likely leave Calgary around 3 or 4 (after a late lunch??).

Mike, you should come for this one, you'll like the car, a LOT!!! Who's in?? Terry, Nick, John, Mike, Howie?? Ask your friends too, not many driving days left, and driving 6 hours on the QE2 is better than thinking about the missed opportunity over the winter We'll pick up anyone that wants to join for part of the trip (Lager99, you in??)


By the way, the black Carrera GT that I told you about before, the one the guy paid for and hadn't picked up, it's STILL THERE!! So you can see it too if you wanna come!!

I should be able to make it. There's also a euro meet Sunday afternoon if you guys want to go to that afterwards.

This is gonna be a great drive. Getting to join in and watch as someone gets the keys to their new exotic car, ooh, I feel like a daddy in the maternity room getting to watch the birth of their new babe, only without the associated, well, you know........

hey, Terry was playing with the MC12 tonight!!! The new whip is not (quite) as cool as that, so we'll just ask Terry for details of that for now :-)

 

I'm down! Just wanted to let eveyone know I Spotted a Maserati MC12 Blue and white 8AM in the Morning on the Anthony Henday Friday Sept 05. Where are all these nice cars comming from now?

 

OK, Let's all meet at 8:30 - 8:40AM tomorrow morning at the Indigo books in South edmonton common. We'll leave there at 8:45 sharp and meet up with Nick just south of Leduc at about 9 - 9:10. Then we'll all meet up in Calgary right around noon.

We went golfing this morning at Wolf Creek and the Maserati went past us too. Very cool car. Maybe we'll see him tomorrow in Calgary as well :-)

Wow this MC12 is just all over the place!
In fact, it had a set of golf clubs in the passenger seat hahahah, now that's what I'm talking about.
