New Albertan!

Hey guys, I am from Red Deer AB and new to 6speed.

I couldn't put up a picture of my car in my sig or avatar; kept saying "invalid image" grr.

Anyways, hopefully I can meet most of you once summer hits 2009!

I drive a Blacked out Charger srt-8 and have lots of big plans for it

Daywalker.

Welcome. I am relatively new also. It looks like the province gets together in the summer for a few meets.

Welcome to 6speed
The Edmonton side of this forum is fairly active, we've had a couple people from Red Deer join us before.

Might as well say Hi as well... been lurking on the forum but finally own something worth posting about. Just bought a Trailblazer SS in Superior Blue (but still dreaming of a P-car one day). Was actually planning on putting this money towards a P-Car, but decided to go slightly more responsible and hold off the car for later...

Looks like a call to the insurance company is in order for next week. Anyone else taking their cars out of hibernation next week?

I already called the insurance company yesterday, insurance rates have gone up. WTF

I was paying $1562.00 now they say it's now $1950 or so, per year, they are going to try to get me another discount like last year, so it will be a litttle over $1800.00 per year, not really that bad, so $850.00 - $900.00 per season, how's everyone elses rates?

Hoping to getting it out Easter weekend.

Next weeks job, installing 200 cell cats, SSK, IPD plenum, Evoms CAI, and aluminum pedals. possibly install my Focal speakers if time permits.

Just put the insurance back on the GTR Monday. I'm paying a little over $1100/yr for it.
