welcome

hi civilian, welcome to the board. I am newer here also and it has been a wealth of information, wish I had joined sooner! I also work at TD, good to see another green automotive enthusiast (and I don't mean environmentally).

first of all thanks for the your kind words, i really appreciate it! i do have a couple questions; from a car standpoint, i've driven a c4s and absolutely love it but i'm curious to know if i should just splurge and get a 996tt either way i'd be happy i just dont know if i want to pay the premium for parts/insurance for it. i'm sure the c4s has enough juice for the track but i always like to know the power is there. the other problem is that i'm a die hard fan of the 993tt so i'm in a pickle. i won't be getting it until the winter anyway, for next summer, so i guess i have alot of time but i'm sooo confused about the whole thing. at least i know i want a porsche haha!

my next question; i've been searching the forums and i'm quite curious to know what you guys in toronto/van city do for a living? i know eric works for td somewhere but i have no clue what the rest of you do and it's always nice to know where i can support my fellow enthusiasts, whether it's from a retail prespective or other wise. i would have to assume many of you are small business owners or higher ups in a larger corporation so feel free to pm me as opposed to posting or just post because i'm fully aware of the other thread that got shut down because it became an advertisement, and i don't want that to happen to my 'intro' thread.

thanks guys, i know there will be great answers to both of my questions!

p.s. your cars are absolutely incredible! i love them all. i also love that these cars are all induvidualized in some way! not like the bmw crowd, from e30 to e90 they all look the same! either msport package(aftermarket or oem) with bbs rims on the e30, or msport package again aftermarket or oem and csl replica's on the e46. don't get me wrong i love how they look but one or twos enough! (flame suit on)

My wife has her own rehab business, primarily with nursing homes and car insurance companies.

I daytrade on the NSYE and TSX. BTW, I don't own a Porsche.

Cheers,
Tim
