Planning on going out to the Castrol Raceway on Saturday Oct 3/09 for the 1/4 mile drag strip.
A few memebers have expressed interested in heading out to this event. It is one of the last Street Legals for the season. Any one can come out to watch or race.
We can meet at a designated spot, and drive out together.
This should be fun. Zippy and I went out a couple years ago, and it was a blast!

When Howie & I went a couple of years ago it was a ton of fun - except for getting thrown out because of a (rather bad) fuel leak after my first run . I managed a 11.481 @ 126.05 with a 1.862 60'. I was primarily interested in the trap MPH, as opposed to slamming hard with the launch and speed shifting the tranny.

 

Gateway Park has a good parking lot, and easy access to the highway towards the track. Suggestions??
