Softronic in Toronto
What you want is EVOMSit.com... But you will have to pull your ECU out and send it to them in the US there is no Dealer in Canada for them yet... If you dont want to bother go with GIAC, but their stuff is not "Updated" as often at EVOMSit...
if you really want to get it done, i sent my ECU to www.rennsport-one.com they are a sponser on here

Somewhat late to the party on this discussion, but .... I bought the package directly from Scott at Softronic and had Courtney at Autowerks load it. He installed the RSS plenum at the same time. Car seems to pull stronger and smoothens out some of the flat spots. Did both at the same time so can't say which contributed the most. You can also get the package through Vivid as Palette points out.
Is it just me or do I get the impression that the Softronic software, although suggests that it will add a bit of HP and torque to the 997S, cannot be clearly felt in the lower revs (less than 3500 RPM) like when you are driving in the city.
I have the softronic tune, it was very easy, and i must say it is pretty crazy with the power difference (hard to keep tires from smoking up). I would def recommend.

I can't say for the 997S, and per Arone for the turbo it makes a real big difference.
For my 996, the car seems to pull stronger and in a more linear fashion from the lower rpms to redline. It certainly won't add gobs more power but it is noticeable to me and the throttle response does seems sharper.
There are a few threads on this topic so if you do a search you'll get other opinions.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, I am still a bit uncertain... If Softronic does not re-map the shift pattern on a Tip S transmission (like the Sport Mode does for those who have SC), then when the Tip S is in D mode (as opposed to manual M mode), it will still shift up at under 3500 RPM in most circumstances, if not earlier. Does that mean that I won't feel the benefits of the Softronic flash? Clearly, the higher redline will not be useful and the smoother upper end will also not be felt. Am I correct?
