I am coming up to Vancouver July 8th-11th for work related training. Are there any get togethers, cruise ins, car shows, meet up spots that are happening in Vancouver? My meetings will be on Granville Island during the day.
I know Vancouver is full of awesome cars, someone point me in the right direction!

 

I don't know of any specific meets or cruises (though it may be worth checking the vancouvereuros club site). However, if you just want to see nice cars, take a walk down Robson street, or any busy street in the downtown core on a nice evening and you will likely see some nice ones. If you're really hardcore, there is a group of exotic dealerships near Granville island (west 2nd area). Included in these is SR Auto who, as of today when I checked it out, have a matte black PPI V10 R8, zeppelin maybach, matte black LP560 and Reventon in their showroom.

 

My plans changed, and I will be in Vancouver this weekend. Anyone interested in some exotic spotting? driving? a drink?

 

I would be interesting in some spotting/driving/going out for a drink. However, a couple caveats:

1. I'm a university student. I'm not sure of your background, but you may not feel like hanging out with a young kid.

2. Given #1,I do not drive an exotic- I drive something quite a bit more modest. (although there are a lot of students around here who do seem to drive exotics).

Ironically, one of my best friends is someone I met through 6speed...so I'm always happy to hang out with a fellow enthusiast/6speeder.

 

I am not concerned with age, more important to me is a passion for cars. I don't really drive an exotic either, just something different.

 

I heard that there is a cruise in type of event at the Tim Horton's on Main in North Vancouver tonight. Think I will go check it out.
