What a tragic incident with Paul Bailey's 918. Famously known to have all 3 hyper cars, P1, La-Ferrari and 918. Car's rear tire got on the grass and critically injured many spectators. 21 people have been injured, 3 of which critically, at Malta International Airport, reports Times of Malta.

Horrific

 

From what I've read, the red and white guardrails were not filled properly with water and were empty. They would have absorbed much of the thrust. So horrible and tragic.

 

Agree with above, take time to protect the spectators who usually don't have a sense of how quickly a car can careen in any direction.

I'll never quite comprehend why the have events which allow spectators to stand so close a hot track.
