There is no button for the wheel. It is tied to the seat heater function. It comes on then goes off when it warms up. It is not on all the time.

So is there any official way of determining if you have this option?

only have had my machine for 4 days now but i have to say that the heated steering wheel feature is fantastic. in 2 or 3 minutes it is starting to get nice and toasty.

great feature and i wish the LR3 had it as well.

On my car, the heated steering wheel is rarely activated....either that or I cannot tell it is working.

If you keep the interior setting on 70 degrees will the heated steering wheel stay on then?

Mine seems to work fine but I thought/assumed it came on when I activated the heated
seats??

Oh how I miss it now. My Cayenne is in for passenger mirror issues (wont go down in reverse) and other stuff, got a Audi A6 loaner. It has heated seats but not the wheel. Man that wheel is cold when its 20 degrees outside!

Heated Wheel

I have just the opposite problem on my 2009 Cayenne S. I live in norther Florida and the car is in the garage. The wheel just started getting so hot you could not hold it. I turned off the heated seats and turned the heater off and it still gets blazing hot in 5 minutes. Is there a sensor that needs to be replaced or is there another way to turn it off completely or disconnect it.
