My low oil light just came on today at around 1100 miles. I had to put a quart in. I knew I should have checked it when I read this thread. I sort of prefer the dipstick rather than the electronic meter in the 997.

Ours drops some oil on the garage floor. My wife says that it reminds her of her Mini Austins...

That can't be good? Now I'll have to go check to see if that's happening.

Can the dealer detect the PROcede chip/program when you take in for service/warranty work? What are the "negatives" with the new chip?

When removed, the PROcede is undetectable. The first time, it will take you may be up to one hour to do the install. Once you know what you are doing, I would say 15 to 20 minutes top to install or remove it.

I am going tomorrow to dyno my 335 in Gaithersburg and I will post the results in the BMW section of 6speedonline as it clearly does not belong to the Cayenne section!

I hope to see over 400hp/400tq (using a 13% transmission loss).
