My dealer aligned my tires for 50 bucks only, why is the difference?

Who has the GREASE? Someone is getting GREASED right up the ole chute

Between $125 - $200 is the norm almost anywhere you go. Your cayenne is not a precise track machine where you need to extract the best out of it on every bumpy road.

Just find a good alignment shop and the machines do the rest. Not rocket science - hell you can use string if you need to and do the alignment.

Canberk for the $50.00 it was probably a readjustment because you bought the car from them and you took it back to them and you have had other problems with your car so it more likely a courtesy.

I've bought the car from another dealer, from out of state, however, 50 bucks is only front tires adjustment. By the way, what is the normal interval for a tire adjustment?

Yes but you have had multiple trips to the same dealer that charged you $50.00 bucks right?

Regardless I wonder why they only did they front which doens't make sense since to me at least. I have never just had the fronts aligned without the backs unless they didn't need them.

If you are talking about tire rotation then it is usually every 5000K miles for some. I have heard others. I do mine every 3K miles or so. Or after I get an alignment for hitting something pretty hard and want to make sure it is in spec.

I try to stay away from my dealership for anything that can be done by a decent shop. My shop is expensive, but not half of what my dealership costs. That is just insane.

Can I rotate the tires by myself? Will I need to realign the tires after rotation?

Try calling Fab (owner) at EF1 Motorsports in Signal Hill area. Cherry Ave exit off 405, by Costco. www.ef1motorsports.com - very nice guy, does great work.

btw I typically rotate tires every 4k miles.

Beware, if the ailignment is not done properly, it is prone to cause the PSM system to malfunction.

my Porsche dealer quoted 279. my Audi dealer who has an old Porsche tech and I trust them told me they would love to do it and charge around 80...with me getting to dictate the settings. then my dad mentioned just buying an alignment rack so hmm.
