What's the best way to tint the tail lights? Tint? Paint? Never done it b/f but want to do the rear lights on the CGTS.

TIA.

Thanks BG, probably end up going that route.

Didn't really look into this one but I can see where a film would work great on tail lights that are flat but the Cayenne's have some pretty sharp bends on the face of the light.

Use VHT Nite Shades. It is available at most auto stores. Google it and you will see lots of pictures.

thicker tint
my guys applied an exterior tint which also provides protection against rock chipping (not really applicable for taillights, but i got headlights/fogs done as well)

really happy with job and looks great

attached before and after pics

If you're a good DIY'er then try the film. I'm not that great with stuff like that so I was quoted by a body shop for $200 to have my rears painted.

I own a bodyshop and did it myself in about 2 hrs including prep and all. paint is the way to go, the film has a flat dull look, not professional at all

there's a guy on eBay that sells the film for the late model cayenne. pretty reasonable price if you want to try it out before spending $100's for a body shop job. do a search by "porsche cayenne" and you should find them.
