Stock xenon bulbs are at 4300K.
I am very picky with lights, so on all my cars I replace the bulbs with 6000K ones, which are white, rather than yellow-ish white (4300K).

+1
4300K.

the reason some lights on different makes look different arent the color temp if it's a stock bulb, it's because of the projector.

But in short 4300K is the stock K temp.

I will go and check tomorrow if I don't get an answer tongiht, but what type of bulbs are our low beams?
2008 Cayenne GTS...... or all xenons, are the same if in the Cayenne's right?

Thanks.
I have handfuls of hid bulbs so I might swap out my lows for the 6500K's I have sitting around I bought from xenondepot.com before....

What is the best bulb maker for xenons, and what is the best kit around for the fogs?
company name/type of kit?

I am about to make a purchase with a supplier from another forum. As soon as I install the lights I will post price, pics and how satisfied I am...He is telling me I should go with 6000k temp, but it seems like my Cayenne has 4300k and I want to be sure that both my headlights and fog lights are the exact same color..not sure what to do???

6000k is a close match but not perfect. Probably your best bet though I'd trying to match stock. Youoght end up changing your stocks out as well in the end after you see them but never know.

Im going to see if he can send me 4300k because I dont want the blueish look, I want as white as possible. The stock xenons are 4300k, right? Also am I correct that the fog is an H11 style bulb?

correct me if I am wrong, but it shouldn't matter what the fogs are, because you aren't just swapping out the bulbs. If you are, the above is correct I think.
You are adding a complete HID kit, so just match the new bulbs to whatever kit you are purchasing.

I am using a complete HID kit for the fogs, but the new HID bulb is made to fit an H11 housing. This way I am not inventing a way to keep the bulb in place.

brand and model number? I want to research myself.

Before on my GS450h, I purchased 6500 for fogs and 6000K for the low beams, closest possible match that way, and I went wirh www.xenondepot.com
Dave, I think is his name is wonderful and was always willing to help, and replace faulty bulbs or whatever.

Wondering if I should go with them, same company, or somone different.

What is the best HID kit available, and which brand of bulb is the best as well.
longevity, reliability.

What I am buying is not from xenondepot, they are from different supplier. Give me a few days to finish the deal and install, once everything is satisfactory, I will give him a recommendation on these forums. The cost is $149.99 + $9.99 shipping.
