2009 Cayenne Turbo S road test??

I think I subscribe to every car magazine known to man in the English language and I check every car-related web site regularly, but I have yet to see a road test (0-60 times, etc.) of a 2009 Cayenne Turbo S. I am shocked that I can buy one, but yet there are no reviews. Anyone seen one? Or better yet, anyone that owns one, what do you think? Is it worth the extra coin over a base Turbo?

Much appreciated.

4.7 seconds is the value for 0-60mph...

As a porsche owner, I can tell you that factory values are the maximums, you can easily go 4.5 or 4.4secs..

IMO, Porsche is most conservative with the Cayenne Turbo S numbers. More than any of their other cars. It is a sleeper. I don't know that it's 0-60 is great, but for an SUV, ouch. I would guess that 4.4 is about right on mine. The big deal is the midrange and top end. A regular Turbo is a snail compared to this car. I have a friend who has already done 180 in one of these. Yep, that's over Porsche's drag limited max speed. Some people believe that top speed isn't known, and Porsche just lists a drag limited top speed for no reason. I will say it is hard to swallow the extra $40k for this car right now, when the Turbo market is hugely soft. Mods might be cheaper right now.

I'll be surprise that 50hp in a 5000 pounds SUV will make it "a lot faster". Can't even do that in a 911 these days.

Drove both. Could not really tell a difference. The TTS was new, couple hundred miles, and the TT had around 8000 miles on it. Could be the difference, I don't know.

Someone backed out of it, and now it sits....

good luck on them selling that one.
