lowering cayenne

Has any one lowered their cayenne with links from www.adjustableairride.com
If so any draw backs. Also what would be the next cheapest route?

I bought them, they are cheap. However, if I were to do it again I would go with some electronic module. The links do lower the ride, and you can lower it LOW. But your ride quality sucks the more you adjust the links. Its a fun mod.., but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. I'd save money and step up to the other stuff.

Side note: I still have mine, I just can't believe how spendy the electronic modules are. Its annoying..

+1 electric module
i have the adjustable links and agree they are too bumpy. i will swap out for a module soon

do not buy http://www.solo-technologies.com/ .
from what people say it is a piece of junk and not even electronic. i know some users on this board are f#@k pissed because the guy lied about his product and scammed them

I am guessing it is like always riding like if it was in sport mode. I think I still am going to try them out on both cayenne and CL500.

i would try them out on one car first

the ride is definitely more firm (like sport mode) which i do not mind.
BUT
my issue with the links is that if you hit a big bump / dip in the road the shock compression creates an overly large feeling of a bump. its hard to explain but can get really annoying when driving. especially when going fast as you feel like you are lifted out of your seat!

the electronic modules not only lower the car but also change the shock compression rates --> smoother ride

thats my 2cents

After being very hesitant about pulling the trigger on the Techart Lowering Module....

I finally did it about 4 months ago and it was one of the best mods I have ever bought.....

The ride is great, even in sport mode, not to mention the ability to corner so much harder.....

The best part has to be that every time you lock the car, it SLAMS the body just above the wheels, which looks spectacular!!!!!

The lowering links are cool. But like someone mentioned above, if your cruising freeway speeds and hit a bump, good god be careful. It slams HARD... I mean your Porsche feels more like a old ford pickup truck. Driving around town is fine.. but when you hit a dip... you cringe. Its real bad, and I'm sure it beats the hell out of the suspension.
