Question Will By-Pass Pipes cause a Check Engine Light??

I was recently told that By-Pass pipes will cause a CEL..Is this true?
I ordered a set of Fabspeed pipes for my CTT and i'm a little concerned.

Thanks

Not on the Cayenne... you're bypassing the secondary cats and the 02 sensors go in front and right behind the primaries so you're fine...

you're going to love the sound! we had the fabspeed muffler bypass installed about a year ago on our 996 and it really sounds good! so far, it's been my favorite modification done to the car!

best wishes!

I had them on my 2005 CS and had to take them off to renew the waranty!
The dealer says no mods are allowed in order to extened the waranty!
Sad ?
