22 tires 285 or 265

I know quite a few guys here have 22's which tire looks better 295/30 265/35 or 285/35? I know the 265 is kind of skinny but my offset is very aggressive so it might look better. I think the 285/35 will fill the fender a little better but its taller and gearing can be an issue. Also brandwise pirelli's, nitto, kumho, toyo, bfgoodrich? Which ones do you guys recommend. I've always disliked kumhos on expensive cars but if its a good tire I'll run it. I need opinions to make an informed decision. Also nitto now has a 23 that will fit cayenne application and its closer to stock diameter than most 22's. Just a heads up.

Ok the wheel is 22x9.5. I have another question how far will this wheel stick out if it is a 30mm offset? I was told it would be aggressive but maybe out 1/2 an inch. I saw on ronal site they have a aggressive offset wheel that sticks out slightly it is a 20mm offset but the wheel is 20x9. Wheel expert help me out.

yup that will stick out, and I am almost positive a 295/30/22 will give you trouble with that spec. Use a 265/35/22 and call it a day.

9.5x22 Et 30 is pretty aggressive.

Lee's the "expert" and he's right. My 22" Techarts came with 265s (Pirelli Scorpions).
