Engine light on...
Okay,
My lemonade Cayenne S just lit the check engine light today, on the way back home. What do you guys think the reasons could be? Let me tell you, it has nothing to do with the gas tank cap. I also didn't fill the tank when the engine was on. That light came out of the blue while driving @70mph on the highway..

Canberk why do many problems with this one?
I hope they find a resolution to this problem for you quickly. I know you had other issues with yours recently.
Let us know what you find.. or they find.

since the problems that I've had up to now were not related to the engine, we can't come up with such a conclusion, mostly electronic...

Would be a good time to invest in the Durametric software... it has saved me multiple times in the past.

Okay, brought it in today. Copying down the exact statement on the service papers.
"C/S CK ENGINE LT IS ON
CAT WARMUP BELOW LIMIT. THIS FAULT OCCURS SOMETIMES DURING VERY COLD WEATHER.
CLEARED CODE. IF LIGHT COMES BACK ON COME TO DEALER"
Whoot whoot. What is the purpose of building an SUV if you make it vulnerable to cold weather... No comment..

I agree. I heard some stories of the Cayenne acting weird in cold weather. Which should not be the case. I drive my Jeep most of the time. We have temperatures dropping down to -13F and about a meter high of snow in Montreal. The ride in the jeep in horrible compared to my CTT but the rigid axles can handle anything. I think if I had treated my CTT the way I treat my Jeep, the CTT would be dead by now.
