I know this is a few years old but I am about to do this and was wondering about the bolts. With the OEM hitch do I need to order new bolts or will the ones already in there work? My Cayenne is a 2009 S. I have everything minus these bolts and the wiring harness (OEM). I have not been able to fine one under $250 yet so if anyone has a used one for sale let me know please.

Bonus, it is in English and Deutch.
I have that PDF file which I printed out. Most of the instructions are good, but when you get to the part that describes how to hook up the control module it's really vague. It would seem that there should be an extra pigtail in that area on the vehicle harness that plugs into the module. The oem retrofit kit included the wiring harness that attached to the hitch. It only has one plug into the module and the other one goes into the vehicle harness behind the taillight. I had the help of my local body shop owner to do the actual installation but neither of us could find the other plug for the control module!!
I know that the dealership has to plug into the main computer and program it for the extra functions, but it makes no sense to me that we can't find the other plug and the trailer plug-in has no power to it.
The proper fuses installed.

the pigtail you are looking for is located over the wheel well. It is easy to miss because it is wrapped in foam, which is typical if porsche...they do this to prevent rattles.
Also, if you are planning on using a brake controller, then you have to visit an automobile electric shop for that...porsche dealership will not install the brake controller due to liability issues, but they will refer you to a local shop that will do t he controller install.
