Very Weird Encounter This Past Weekend
This past weekend, I had so many problems with my 2005 Cayenne TT, first of all, i had got some modifications done approximately 2 weeks ago speedart exhaust, fabspeed 2ndary bypass pipes and lip kit done. 2 weeks its driving fine, then I went to a friends to have a couple drinks, well it turned to more than that, but enough for me to drive home, but my friends brother wanted to test out the car with the new exhaust and everything handed him the keys got it back later on that night.
Had to drop a friend off at night, then he wanted to hear the exhaust as well, so I floored it go to about 50 then all hell came. The engine started to malfunction or something, it started to jerk, my foot was on the pedal completely down, and it wouldn't drive at all, I dropped down to 20 mph, note ( approximately 10 beers in ), couldn't risk being helped by the police, enough speed made a U-turn on small roads. If i didn't keep my foot on the pedal gasing it a little, it made shut down completely once, but then I thought if i restarted the car it would be fine. Then I restarted it, started driving, after hitting 20mph, around 2nd gear it started to jerk really bad, and I realized my foot was probably half way on the gas, and it wasn't going it just kept jerking back and forth, not going past 30 mph. It was the worst experience ever. Luckily going only 25mph the whole way back. I figured I'd leave it alone for the night and hopefully let it rest and it will be back to normal the next day.
The next day, same friend came over, because I thought his brother did something to my car, so I said come over and check it out with me. He did took it for a test drive, while I was following in his range rover sport, we drove about 20 minutes in, then stopped at a beach parking lot. Realized that nothing was going on, we spoke to soon, he had the car in neutral, and seemed like it was revving on his own, i thought it was him, hes like its not me, its doing it by itself. We realized that if it was either in Park or Neutral, it revved itself to about 2000 RPMS, and wouldn't go down, but then we took it for another drive and same thing started to happen again, jerking around 2nd to 3rd gear, having a lot of trouble shifting, as well as stalling. Took it back, because didn't want to make it worse, because the service dept isn't opened weekends, but taking it in today. Then realized later on the engine light came on. Does anyone have an idea whats going on, and what im expecting from the service dept at porsche. Thanks

sorry to hear about the troubles, had a similar thing happen with a honda many years ago, that however was after a serious accident and extensive repair work.
whats more concerning is that l must be misreading your post, eithier that or you were flooring your motor after 10 beers.
so hope l have got this wrong.

Vacuum leak usually makes the engine "idle" faster with no load. A leak in the intake system would also throw it off enough to make it run rough past a certain point that the ECM can't adjust around. Look for loose or cracked hoses.
My apologies for drinking, but i was completely fine, and i couldn't risk getting pulled over on a major road to get helped by the police, even though it took my 45 minutes to get home going 25mph max, because it wouldn't let me...Hopefully porsche finds out whats going on with it its really weird, and my warranty just went out so hopefully its nothing big. Couple friends said it was a max airflow sensor? possibly not getting enough air into it so causing it to not function right, couple said that not enough engine oil i really have no clue, but it was really weird. especially when it was revving itself staying at 2000 rpm
