Looks like Barber Motorsport Park in AL to me..I think Porsche has a school there.

What about the Ranger Rover comment at the end..is the Cayenne as capable as a RR off-road?? I've been to a Land Rover "Experience" and they do some ballsy stuff.

That is Barber in AL. When did some laps on the track and offroading in the woods in a Cayenne during a rain break.

need to have a lot of confident in yourself and the Cayenne to drive on the track like that.

if it is not your own car, that may also help.

i'd be scared the **** out of me... it's an SUV, and there's always the risk of rolling over..

I really didn't get a sense that a rollover was an issue while lapping. One day during the PDE I had lunch with the mechanics that handle the daily maintenance on the fleet and they said they get 200-300 miles on a set of Cayenne tires doing those hot laps - then they are shot!

Find a big, big empty parking lot, go 30 and then hit a turn hard. Then do 40, then 50 and so on. It took me until about 60 before I felt that I had to take the turn a little less aggressively. For the most part, I felt more understeer at higher speed turns and less of a sensation of it wanting to go over. What really ironic is the faster I went, I still could not get the girlie giggles going like this guy did
