CT oil consumption during break in?

CT oil consumption during break in?
How much oil did your twin turbo 4.5L V8 consume during your first 5000 miles?

I'm at 3000 miles and from 0-1500 I added 1qt of Mobil 1 0w-40 and now I just added another 2 qts.

Seems like a lot, but not a single drop underneath the car. I have a black and white tile floor so it would be really easy to spot!

Where did those three qts go?!?! Is this normal or should I be worried?

it's normal... it's eats lots oil...

Thanks Arling....wanna give me a heads up on what to expect as the mileage increases ie 1qt = 1000 miles till 10,000? or something like that?
