We put a set of Fabspeed's Secondary Cat Bypass Pipes on a Cayenne GTS recently.

Made of T304 high-polished stainless steel, these pipes add 15 hp and save 30 lbs of weight over the stock 4-cat setup. They connect to the factory downpipes and midpipes for a perfect fitment, and include Wurth hardware and copper gaskets. Improvements in power, throttle response, and even fuel economy are some of the benefits, and they will not set off your CEL.

These pipes are actually for sale. Please PM me for a price.

The customer loved the sound and didn't cause any lights to come on as they are installed after the last set of 02 sensors but his local dealership failed his inspection as soon as they saw them. So we have put it back to stock so he could get inspected but didn't want to install them back on.

What is this about the dealer failing his inspection? What inspection are you referring to?

From my experience, the only issue with installing aftermarket products is that the manufacturer will not cover under warranty any repairs related to the aftermarket parts installed.

Please tell us about this inspection.

I'm also interested in pipes if they are still for sale.

Do you recall if this video was taken with the GTS in Sport Mode or Normal Mode? Even with the stock exhaust and secondary cats, it makes a noticeable difference in sound.

all these "adverts" should be in the right place, this is another blaitent peice of selling, no matter how good/interesting its not fair on the other board/site sponsors that obay the rules.

if every body did this it would be filled with adds and look like auto trader.

also if the guy loved the sound etc then why would he not put them back on? sounds bazzare.
i think they would be too loud inside the car and not good for a long ride?

sounds fishy
the post for sale is 5 days after "fitting them" to customers car, he got that in for an inspection quickly didnt he?
sorry i think it was a for sale post straight away.

Sorry for not getting back to you guys sooner, I'm subscribed to this forum and thread and for some reason or another I was not getting the replies.

These pipes were installed several days prior to the inspection. The customer absolutely loved them. His inspection was due soon after that but he didn't think anything of it since Fabspeed claims that they pass inspection. So my client took his GTS to the dealership to get inspected and as soon as the technician got it on the lift and saw the pipes, without any testing to see if they would pass, the tech failed it and entered it in the system as a failure. The tech could have also nicely said listen I can't sign off on this, you should try another place to see if you can get it passed, but he failed the truck and so now he can't go to another inspection station without throwing up red flags and getting fined. So he had us take them off, and didn't want to bother having them reinstalled and decided to sell them. I hope this clears things up.

They will not fit your car. They do not fit any 955 Cayennes at all. They do not fit 957 Turbo Cayennes either. They only fit GTS and S 957 Cayennes.
