Installing non staggered tires setup on a staggered Wheels set

Hi,

I have a set of 18"bbs that was on our previous 996 Narrow body. I would like to use the wheels on my cayenne turbo with winter tires. However, the winter tires are 255-55-18 all four of them. My wheels are not the same width for the front and rear. I don't know what is the exact width as the wheels are not here physically, but I remember that they were 265 in the rear and 235 in the front when they were on the 996. They were perfect fit for the 996 NB.

So at the end, can i use these wheels on my cayenne, installing the larger wheels in the back but running all four tire in 255-55-18 size ?

Thanks

those wheels are not designed for the weight of our 4x4's, and the offset is/will be different.

but to answer your question, yes they would physically fit (but not up to purpose)
