Question Rumors vs real differences between 04/05 CTT?

I have read litterally every thread on nearly every forum on the internet about CTT.

I have been shopping for on 05 CTT as this seems to have the best options/upgrades/bang for the buck.

There are some good deals out there on both 04 and 05.

Every once in awhile I see a killer deal on an 04 and get tempted by it.

So I thought I would post up the question agian.

What are the "REAL" differences. The facts. Not the internet rumors.

-04 CD based nav, 05 DVD.
-04 and early 05 "probably" have plastic coolant pipes unless they have been changed.

What else?

I have both and honestly there is not much of a difference. 04 Nav works great as does the 05. I had no clue my 05 was DVD based fwiw....

I believe both years have the plastic coolant pipes as I was just told my 05 had the aluminum ones put in not too long ago.

Personally I would not hesitate buying a clean 04 CTT.

03,04,05,06 ALL have the same plastic coolant pipes until changed to aluminum pipes. If you see an 05 you like that is well priced, I say go for it...BUT if you see a nicely equipped 04 that is exactly what you want, dont walk away from it "because it's an 04".
