I'm sure many of you who have the Cayenne GTS cross-shopped the ML63 and BMW ///M X5....

Just curious what your thoughts were on each of these super SUV's before picking the one you have?

It's still a debate if we need a 7-passenger SUV in which case only the BMW qualifies but all 3 SUV's are roomy and can hold 5-passengers in comfort.

So which one would you pick given price are all roughly the same:

GTS
ML63
///M X5

i think all are great SUV's, i checked them all out before i got my GTS. I'm not a fan of BMW service, had many issues with my M6 and they were a pain to deal with. I do like the ML but i ended up going with the GTS due to the off road ability. We mountain bike so we like to drive a little off road. All are solid SUV's and i dont think there is a bad choice so just choose the one that fits your lifestyle.

BTW i ended up trading in the GTS for a CTT and love it.

I like the stereo in the M-X5 better and the center console lay out.

 

I drove the X5M and it felt 'tippy' to me. Couldn't get a comfortable driving position. Interior is nice, but the new Cayenne interior is fabulous! I am going to try and go Saturday to drive one!

the Mercedes is almost like a minivan IMHO.

the x5 is very nice and i like it a lot.

but the cayenne gts takes the cake. If you drive these cars extensively you will notice the superiority of the Porsche over the others. I could be biased but this time around I am passing the x5 which i can have for 10k less to get the 2011 Porsche.
